Picale Privacy Policy

Effective September 28, 2026

In short: Picale reads your step count so it can show it to you. That's it. We don't collect, store, sell, or share any of your information.

Information Picale accesses

With your permission, Picale reads your step count from your Apple Watch using Apple's health and motion frameworks. Picale only reads step data. It does not access any other health information, and it does not write data to Apple Health.

How that information is used

Step data is used only to display your steps inside the app. It is processed on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else.

Information we do not collect

Health data

Picale does not use health data for advertising or marketing, does not sell it, and does not share it with third parties.

Apple diagnostics

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. This is controlled by you and handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. These reports do not identify you.

Your choices

You can turn off Picale's access to your step data at any time on your iPhone in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health. Deleting the app removes it from your Apple Watch.

Children

Picale does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
